Research Interests:
My name, Rion, means science and sounds in Japanese, so I am naturally interested in speech sounds and articulation. More precisely, my research interest lies in how we move articulators to produce certain speech sounds. I am currently interested in lingual articulatory aspects of Japanese vowel devoicing.
