Motion Capture
•The Motion Capture lab at Haskins uses a network of six infrared-sensitive Vicon cameras, connected to a PC and to a high speed visible-light camera.
•Reflective markers are attached to speakers’ or signers’ limbs, torso, head and face, so that their movements can be tracked in three dimensions.
•The system has a sampling rate of 100 Hz and a spatial resolution of ~ .1mm.
