HASKINS LOGO

There are many different versions of the official Haskins logo. It exists in both a “positive” (black text) and “negative” (white text, as above) variety, and in several different file formats (JPEG, TIFF, PDF, and EPS).

Graphics File Format:

JPEG provides a low-resolution image, in a small size. It usually looks good on-screen, but does not print well. We use this as our default logo format, but it is not recommended if you want a high-quality printout.

TIFF provides a high-resolution image, but the file size is very large. It looks good both on-screen and when printed. Do not use this format if you intended to send a file via email because the file size will be large.

PDF (Portable Document Format) is a proprietary file format developed by Adobe Systems for representing documents in a device independent and resolution independent format. It works well with Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, and other programs.

EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) is a standard file format for importing and exporting PostScript files. EPS files are intended to be included in other pages. EPS files can be used with illustration programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and other programs.

These graphics images can be inserted in other files and re-sized.
