Vishakha’s past research has focused on the development of motor and communication skills in infancy and early childhood. Currently, she is coordinating collaborations with specialized schools for children with language-based learning difficulties to find brain-behavior correlates for reading intervention efficacy using EEG and standardized behavioral assessments. Additionally, she is working on projects interested in the processing of audiovisual information in people with ASD and correlations between genetic, behavioral and MRI data for Specific Reading Difficulty in children.
